7 Months Old

Time keeps flying by but we are loving every minute of it. Parker smiles and laughs all day long (OK, maybe not at bedtime). He enjoys playing ball (Future Illini of course), talking to "the baby" in the mirror, and drinking from his sippy cup. He has even started to pull himself up so we will definitely be chasing him in no time!

Fun Weekend

Parker had a fun-filled weekend. He went to his second swimming lesson and went all the way under water this time. On Sunday, Grandpa Jim and Nancy came to visit and Parker loves his valentine gifts from Mexico. He also got to show off his crawling (backwards) and speaking ("baba") skills.

6 month checkup

Parker went for his 6 month checkup today. It will be no surprise to anyone who has seen him lately that he is still growing exponentially. He weighed in at 21 lbs. 13 oz. and is 30 inches long, both measurements in the 97th percentile. And as you will see in the video, it is only a matter of time before Parker will be on the go since his determination to crawl is growing as fast as his body.
